Chances are, you know if you're the audience for Tom Six's "The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)," so the first full-length trailer that dropped overnight won't sway you either way.
It's a predictably sick and twisted affair. This is, after all, the preview for a film that was banned outright in the UK, and caused its distributor, IFC Films, to station an ambulance outside the Austin's Alamo Drafthouse at its world premiere. As iW's Eric Kohn reported: "After the screening, two very real paramedics were helping a woman in the lobby who felt sick. With a movie like “Human Centipede II,” you have two choices: Use your imagination or confront the real thing."
Well, with this black-and-white trailer you'll have to use your imagination, as nothing is really shown so much as implied. Guess we'll have to wait for the red-band trailer to get a real taste for what Six has in store.
The film opens in limited release October 7.
