A teaser trailer was released by the Weinstein Company in June, but the new trailer reveals more plot details and features appearances from Samuel L. Jackson and Jonah Hill. In two-and-a-half minutes, the trailer showcases Tarantino's knack for assembling a great cast of actors, his trademark twisted and complex plot lines, and the tight scripts and sharp one-liners he's built his reputation on over the years. If the trailer is a reflection of the final product, then it harbingers "Django's" inclusion in the canon of classic Tarantino hits and Oscar bait.
