Weinsteins Rock to Sean Penn's "This Must Be the Place"

The Weinstein Company has picked up Italian auteur Paolo Sorrentino's first English-language feature, "This Must Be the Place." Starring Sean Penn, the film is described by iW's film critic Eric Kohn tells the story of a "subpar Alice Cooper impression" with Penn playing the weary-eyed Cheyenne, a leather-clad middle-aged retiree spending his aimless days in a Dublin mansion."

The film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May. TWC did not give an official release date.
