Wenders and Torn at IFC Center

At the IFC Center in Manhattan this weekend, a pair of notable figures will be on hand for their screenings. Wim Wenders will attend screenings of his new film "Land of Plenty" (Saturday and Sunday at 7:30), while actor Rip Torn will be at the theater for Friday and Saturday night screenings of "Forty Shades of Blue." Post-screening conversations are expected to continue in the Waverly bar/restaurant after the showings.
