It's only July, but the behind-the-scenes of the awards world has already begun. The Writers Guild of America has announced that its bicoastal simultaneous awards shows will happen on February 19, 2012. The full release with submissions deadlines is below.
2012 WRITERS GUILD AWARDS
Los Angeles and New York – The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced the 2012 Writers Guild Awards will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York. The Writers Guild Awards honor outstanding writing in film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation awards categories.

TV eligibility period:
Long Form, Episodic, Animation, and Children’s script categories:
First broadcast between Dec 1, 2010 and Nov 30, 2011
All other script categories:
First broadcast between Oct 1, 2010 and Sep 30, 2011
Screen eligibility period:
Theatrically exhibited in Los Angeles for at least one week during 2011
Fri. Oct 14 Deadline for submissions: TV-Radio and Paul Selvin Award scripts
