“While We Were Here” stars Bosworth and Iddo Goldberg as a married couple who visit the Italian island of Ischia on a business trip. The film, which had its premiere in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival, depicts Jane's trials as a young writer and her romantic affair with an Ischia native played by Jamie Blackley.
"Coiro has crafted a beautiful film that will instantly send audiences running to Ischia on their next vacation,” said Wrekin Hill president Chris Ball. “This is the best Kate Bosworth performance I have ever seen."
Ball solidified his reputation by producing such indie classics as 'Memento,' 'Donnie Darko' and 'Monster' at Newmarket Films, along with creative partner and Wrekin Hill co-founder Rene Cogan.
Wrekin Hill has recently released “The Way Back,” “Hesher” and “The Flowers of War.”
