Zach Galifianakis Leads 'Mistaken For Strangers: The Play' Based on The National Documentary

Indie rock band The National is known for dark, soulful and heartbreaking music. In honor of the band's success, a documentary film, "Mistaken for Strangers," was released in 2013. Now, Funny Or Die has decided to adapt the acclaimed documentary into a stage musical--starring Zach Galifianakis.

Since 1999, indie rock band The National has been making dark, soulful and heartbreaking music. In honor of the band's success, a documentary film, "Mistaken for Strangers," was released in 2013 and chronicled the band's long journey. Now, Funny Or Die has decided to adapt the acclaimed documentary into a play--starring beloved actor Zach Galifianakis.

The video introduces the documentary (which is now available on iTunes) as well as "Mistaken for Strangers: The Play" and shows Galifianakis taking on the role of a lifetime.
