    Strand Releasing Brings "Poison Friends" to U.S.

    Strand Releasing has acquired all U.S. rights to Emmanuel Bourdieu's "Poison Friends" from Les Films du Losange. The film has been selected as an official selection for the 44th edition of the New York Film Festival. "Poison Friends" follows a cadre of college intellectuals who fall prey to one of their group's seductively charming pathological liars. The feature won a prize at this year's International Critic's Week where it had its world premiere as the opening film.
