    IFC Films Laughs Up "Loop" for the U.S.

    IFC Films has acquired U.S. rights to British comedy, "In the Loop," by Armando Iannucci, the company announced Thursday. The film, which will have its world premiere Thursday evening at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, was written by the team who created the award-winning BBC TV series "In The Thick of It" and stars James Gandolfini, Peter Capaldi, Tom Hollander, Gina McKee, Mimi Kennedy, David Rasche, Chris Addison, Anna Chlumsky and Steve Coogan.
