    "La Vie en Rose" and "Michou D'Auber" Bookend City of Lights, City of Angels Fest

    Writer/director Olivier Dahan's biopic "La Vie en Rose" will open the 11th City of Lights, City of Angels series spotlighting French films in Los Angeles April 16 - 22. The Picturehouse film, starring Marion Cotillard and Gerard Depardieu, is the story of French singer Edith Piaf, which will open in New York and LA June 8. The U.S. premiere of "Michou D'Auber" (also starring Depardieu) written and directed by Thomas Gilou, will be the closing night film on April 21st.     Details of the 2007 edition of the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival, North America's largest, were unveiled this week, with 129 films set for this year's roster. Hot Docs will open April 19 in Toronto with David Sington's "In the Shadow of the Moon," the story of NASA's Apollo astronauts, told first-hand by the crews themselves with never-before-seen archival footage.
