    INDUSTRY MOVES: Monga Named Sr. Programmer at SIFF

    Anita Monga has been hired as senior programmer for the Seattle International Film Festival, according to an announcement from artistic director Carl Spence. She will primarily focus on programming the new SIFF Cinema in the Nesholm Family Lecture Hall at Seattle Center's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. Monga previously programmed the Castro Theater in San Francisco for some 28 years, she is also a founding member of the Film Noir Foundation and director of the Film Noir City Festival, as well as a consultant for the Film Arts Festival of Independent Cinema and SF IndieFest.
