    Fire Destroys Home of Wallace and Gromit

    The warehouse headquarters of Aardman Animations in England was destroyed by a fire today, according to news reports from the scene. The Guardian reported this afternoon, "Most, if not all, the props, backgrounds and sets used since founders Dave Sproxton and Peter Lord first established he company in 1976 were lost after the roof of the archive facility collapsed, wrecking the three floors below it."     Sundance Institute Announces Establishment of Sloan Commissioning Fund for Science/Technology Screen

    Sundance Institute announced recently the creation of the Sloan Commissioning Fund, through a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, enabling the Institute to further support the development, presentation and celebration of science and technology through independent film.
