Beyoncé Knowles, Director? Multi-Hyphenate Shopping Non-Fiction Feature Project To Studios

Why not, right? She's done (and continues to do) just about everything else - acting, singing, dancing, producing, clothing line, perfume... and maybe the toughest of them all - mother. She can do anything she wants, and given her international popularity, I doubt that she'll have much trouble attracting interest from the studios she's said to be shopping this upcoming documentary to.

It's 'Parental Guidance Suggested' For Selena Gomez; B.J Novak Is Robert Sherman; Michael McDonald Feels 'The Heat' & More

Disney pop princess Selena Gomez has earned a considerable amount of respect from us for allowing her film roles to stray pretty far away from her squeaky clean image that made her name. With a cameo role in the Eli Roth-starring earthquake thriller “Aftershock” and a revealing supporting part alongside James Franco in the Harmony Kormine-directed “Spring Breakers,” it would look as if the days of typical teenage dreck like “Monte Carlo” are at least partially in her rearview. Gomez is now set to star opposite Nat Wolff in a coming-of-age rock 'n roll comedy "Parental Guidance Suggested," based on the Ric Browde book “While I'm Dead...Feed the Dog,” which centers on a rock infused journey of a 16-year-old named Ric Thibault (Wolff) and his crush Nina Pennington (Gomez). It’s not exactly the ballsy material we were just priding her for taking part in, but she could do a lot worse. Dylan McDermott, Cary Elwes, and Austin Stowell will co-star.

'Mortal Instruments' Adds Aidan Turner & CCH Pounder; Brendan Fraser Makes A 'Split Decision' & Josh Gad Has An 'Internship'

The quest to find a young adult book series that can easily be turned into a film franchise of “The Hunger Games” or “Twilight” proportions seems to be everlasting. One of the more recent attempts is currently coming together in the form of author Cassandra Clare’s “The Mortal Instruments” saga, with the first installment entitled “City of Bones” set to roll soon in front of cameras, and the cast is slowly shaping up. The film has lined up two more talented individuals in “The Hobbit” star Aidan Turner, who will be happily leaping from one epic franchise to another – along with “The Shield” regular and “Avatar” actress CCH Pounder. Turner will be filling the role of Luke Garroway in director Harald Zwart’s adaptation, while Pounder will assume to role of Madame Dorothea. Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower are the HAWT duo of this series, leaving Lena Heady, Jared Harris, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Durand and more to do the background work. Screen Gems will be releasing the film stateside in the late summer spot of August 13, 2013.

'Girls' Star Adam Driver Says 'The F Word' With Zoe Kazan & Daniel Radcliffe

To say that we're fans of "Girls" star Adam Driver would certainly be dead accurate. Granted, we've only really seen him on the HBO show, but the actor impressed us immensely with a continually surprising and nuanced turn on Lena Dunham's program, and we've already placed him earlier this year on our On The Rise list of TV actors due to break out into bigger things. And it looks like we're not the only ones who've had an eye on him.

New Pics From That 'Red Dawn' Remake Starring Chris Hemsworth That You Forgot About

With one long-shelved project hitting theaters earlier this year in "Cabin In The Woods," Chris Hemsworth hopes another movie bearing his name, which also has been delayed, will make a bit more of a splash than that excellent horror flick. "Red Dawn" -- yes, a remake of the jingoistic 1984 movie -- is headed to your multiplex this fall, and few new images have arrived.

Don't Worry Twihards, Summit Won't Bury 'Breaking Dawn: Part 2' Because Robsten Broke Up

Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably already know that the relationship between Edward and Bella, aka Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, has ended due to the latter's affair with her "Snow White & The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. While the tabloids are continuing to try and squeeze the story for all its worth, one of the big question marks was what Summit was going to do for the press rounds of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2." Robsten, as they are known to their diehard fans, have been an integral part to the franchise's marketing, with their real life relationship one of the selling points of their romance in the films. But will they face the media spotlight once again in the wake of this highly publicized break? The answer is, duh, yes.
