    While attending a party with both gay and straight members of the film and music communities last weekend in Los Angeles, I was struck by the parallels between the current post-Prop 8 environment and the anti-gay Prop 6 that late San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk campaigned to defeat in the '70s.
