    "Up In The Air" Leads D.C. Critics Nods

    The Washington, DC Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) followed the National Board of Review and gave Jason Reitman's "Up In The Air" considerable support in their annual nominations. "Air" has strong competition leading to the announcement of tomorrow's winners, though. The George Clooney starrer took 8 nominations, including picture, director, actor, and two for supporting actress, while Lee Daniels' "Precious: Based on the novel 'Push' by Sapphire" and Kathryn Bigelow's "The Hurt Locker" each took 7 nominations.
