Pop Matters

Cynthia Fuchs is director of Film & Media Studies, as well as Associate Professor of English and Film & Video Studies, at George Mason University. She has published numerous articles on popular media, edited Spike Lee: Interviews (University of Mississippi Press 2002), and co-edited Iraq War Cultures (Peter Lang 2009). She is Film-TV editor at PopMatters and film reviewer at Philadelphia Citypaper and Time to Play Magazine.
