A graduate of NYU, Ed Gonzalez worked for Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, and O Magazine before leaving the world of women’s magazine behind for the more lucrative arena of film criticism. His writing has appeared in City Pages, Gay City News, The Los Angeles Times, and The Village Voice. He is the film editor of Slant Magazine and is a member of the Online Film Critics Society and the New York Film Critics Online.
