Ready for some new old news? Here we go: Way back in 2010, The Weinstein Company and Miramax announced a deal that would find TWC putting into production sequels for some of the biggest movies from the studio they once started, as well as developing television offshoots too. ESPN's 'This Is What They Want': A Doc Portrait of a Great Tennis Player and a Notorious Jerk

At best an occasional and half-hearted follower of tennis (which is still more than I can say for most other sports), I had never heard of Jimmy Connors before seeing "This is What They Want," the new "30 for 30" doc airing on ESPN tonight at 8pm.

When we're 70, we hope we're half as busy as Martin Scorsese. The ever-moving filmmaker is currently busy prepping his forthcoming "The Wolf Of Wall Street"—with some new images from the movie, about one debauchery drive financial mogul, landing today—and as always, he already has his eye on what's ...

James Franco Will Teach You How To Pick Up Women In Brian Koppelman & David Levien's 'The Game'

It turns out not everything James Franco does in 2012 will be some kind of elaborate performance piece. The actor and artist has landed a pretty interesting new film, one that will find him in full command of his skills with the ladies.

Leonardo DiCaprio-Produced Adaptation Of Acclaimed Novel 'Beat The Reaper' Heading To HBO

Not that we don't love the thing, but we're a little dispirited by the extent to which top-flight filmmakers are ready to jump ship to HBO. Increasingly the home to A-list directors like Martin Scorsese, Michael Mann and Darren Aronofsky, it's becoming one of the few places that smart, p...

'Solitary Man' Team Brian Koppelman & David Levien To Rewrite & Direct Neil Strauss' 'The Game'

No book or author/personality has been as sleazy in recent memory as Neil Strauss. His breakout bestseller "The Game" is part memoir and part expose, chronicling Strauss’ own adventures in the guys club world of pick-up artists and his experiences and successes with the techniques he learned from these guys that more or less involves reducing women to a bunch of base stereotypes. Basically, it’s kind of total douchebag stuff that at the same time is repulsively fascinating. So while we're a little bummed that "Solitary Man" team Brian Koppelman and David Levien have made this their next film, we're hopeful they'll be able to find some depth ...
