James McTeigue Gets A 'Message From The King'
While James McTeigue hasn't made his defining film yet, under the guidance of The Wachowskis he has proven himself to be an able and stylish director. Cutting his teeth with the duo as an Assistant Director on "The Matrix" trilogy and a Second Unit director on "Speed Racer," he was given the his first shot behidn the director's chair with "V For Vendetta," a kind of silly, very Wachowski-an adaptation of Alan Moore's graphic novel.
