Last fall, a project entitled "The Other Woman" cropped up with Cameron Diaz linked to star, and Kristin Wiig was said to be "under consideration" for the co-starring role. And then nobody heard anything about it again. But the movie has popped back up and Diaz is back in the mix...

Toronto Review: Nick Cassavetes' 'Yellow' Suggests 'Bad Teacher' By Way of Bob Fosse and Todd Solondz

Nick Cassavetes has yet to his on a filmmaking style to rival his father's legacy, but with "Yellow," the director of "The Notebook" presents a relentlessly unhinged portrait of emotional turmoil with bold stabs at expressionistic representation at every turn.

TIFF Review: Nick Cassavetes' ‘Yellow’ Is Daring, Bold And Just What The Doctor Ordered

Officially the most refreshing breath of air at this year’s TIFF, Nick Cassavetes’ new feature ‘Yellow’, is a step into crazy terrritory, far from his recent romantic comedy fare and "Alpha Dog." Away from traditional ways of telling stories, and towards a different type of perspective, a very diffe...

Snoop Dogg To Score Nick Cassavetes' Rick Ross Biopic

With Nick Cassavetes bailing on the gestating "Gotti: Three Generations" film to finish up his indie production "Yellow," if everything goes according to plan he'll likely be moving on to direct the Rick Ross biopic announced earlier this year. The film will tell the story of Ross' early days as a crack cocaine dealer in Los Angeles during the 1980s. Apparently, Ross was a major player slinging up to 100 kg of the stuff per day and he claims that he was supplied by Contras who were fighting the Nicaraguan government at the time; yep, those same Contras that were funded by officials in Ronald Reagan’s administration. And a man who is no strang...

Nick Cassavetes Replaces Liam Neeson In Reshot 'Hangover 2' Cameo

So far what we've seen from the highly anticipated sequel "The Hangover Part II" hasn't impressed in the slightest. The first trailer feels like a warmed-over rehash of everything from the first film but simply transplanted to Thailand. But if anything, Todd Phillips is determined to get the small role of the Bangkok tattoo artist right. First he had planned for Mel Gibson to take the part, but objections from the cast (mostly Zach Galifianakis) put the kibosh on that. Next, Liam Neeson was called up, but as Phillips readies the film for a Memorial Day release on a tight schedule, he still didn't have the scene he wanted and now someone else ...
