Sundance Film Festival![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The LowdownThe Sundance Film Festival is largest and most important film festival in the United States. Held annually in and around Park City, Utah (with screens in other Utah cities as well), the festival is the premier showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers. The festival comprises competitive sections for American and international dramatic and documentary films, both feature-length films and short films, and a group of non-competitive showcase sections, including Premieres, New Frontier, Spotlight, and Park City at Midnight. The festival has introduced a new non-competitive section for low- and no-budget narrative films for the 2010 festival, entitled “NEXT.”
