As everyone settles in for summer, we’re digging into Emmys season.
The prize for Best Actor in a Drama Series is one of this year’s most intriguing competitions. Category mainstays like Kevin Spacey are definitely still in the mix, but there are a few different stars from freshman dramas that will likely take up a few spots of their own.
We’ve gathered the top contenders, from the dark horses, all the way through to the sure things. For each actor, we’ve also included whether or not they’ve taken home a statuette before and if they’ll have a shot again if 2017 doesn’t end up being their year.
