Posters are nice, but how about a real career analysis? Billy Lynn was one of the biggest flops of 2016, and Stewart’s had a series of bombs with American Ultra, Anesthesia and Equals (going straight to VOD).
Why don’t you ever do a piece on how Chanel co-financed her two French films in exchange for product placement? There’s even a poster of Karl Lagerfeld in the background of a scene in Personal Shopper.
Did you know Chanel designed Stewart’s costumes for Cafe Society? Just hers, not Blake Lively’s. Don’t you find that strange? I wouldn’t be surprised if they furnished them for free. I can’t think of another actress who’s career is subsidized by a fashion/cosmetics company, can you? You don’t think that’s newsworthy?
She got rave reviews for the two French films, and from that has claimed to reinvent herself, but she’s never been able to attract an audience to the box office. Since Billy Lynn flopped so hard, she’s made an unreleased horror movie with a no name director (Lizzy), a disaster movie with a no name director, and has a low budget indie lined up with a no name director. Nothing else in development.
If she’s supposed to be so great, why are no top directors offering her roles? There is zero buzz about her working with any quality director. Horror movies and disaster movies? We all know what that means for an actor’s career. She’s said in interviews she’d like a role in a Marvel franchise, but they’ve shown no interest in her.
Instead of more puff pieces, how about something grounded in reality for a change?

This lady claims to be Robert Pattinson’s number one fan. She goes by many names, but she is the same person. The wording in every comment she has written is extremely similar. All of her comments have the same old cliche. It’s badmouthing Kristen Stewart to kingdom come. She says Kristen is getting desperate because she starred in horror and disaster films. Talk about crazy. Halle Berry starred in a 2003 horror film called “Gothika.” Her acting career was nowhere near stalled as she starred as Storm in “X2: X-Men United” that same year and reprised the role in “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past” in 2006 and 2014 respectively. Another thing about this lady is she will viciously attack you if you say anything negative about Jennifer Lawrence, even if you are joking. She loves comparing her to Kristen. She claims JenLaw’s Oscar wins and nominations prove how talented she is. The reality is people don’t remember entertainers by the awards they’ve won. They remember them by their performances. In fact, the public has forgotten about JenLaw’s Oscar wins and nominations. However, it remembers Halle’s Oscar win very well because she is the only African-American woman to win Best Actress. She doesn’t love JenLaw or any other actress she claims to love. She hates Kristen, and she uses the actresses to fuel her hate.
how do we know what anyone has lined up ? as for directors really does that really mean anything … scorsese’s silence budget 46 mil opening weekend 130k … my point its a business and unless you work in the business we don’t know why and how deals are done . Women get crapped on all the time in the business while men can make mistake after mistake and still go on
Stewart career is fine … People have been saying her career been over since twilight … but here are again with dozens of critics praising her …Looking forward to her journey …
