Indiewire Advertising Support Specialist

Indiewire, the leading news and information source on independent film for over 16 years, the leading independent film destination site, and Snagfilms are seeking a self-starter who is interested in learning the strategy of building revenue for a web based business. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn how companies succeed in a digital environment. He/she will also work closely under the Senior Advertising Operations Manager to assist the Ad Sales, Marketing, and Product and planning.

Duties:

*Schedule and launch interactive advertising campaigns in timely and accurate manner using the ADTECH and DART ad serving platforms.

*Proactively investigate issues (delivery discrepancies, billing disputes, technical issues, etc.) with clients, agencies, and/or internal parties and provide resolutions to these issues.

*Work directly with advertisers & media designers to collect creative assets, troubleshoot technical issues, and correctly implement rich media creative.

*Create insertion orders and work with Senior Advertising Operations Manager to ensure timely payment for accounts receivable.

*Reconcile advertising revenue with blogging partners for accounts payable.

*Assist in preparation of delivery reports for clients and internal pipeline reports.

*Assist sales team in preparation and execution of advertising proposals.

Key Skills and Experience to be learned:

*Understand advertising operations, sales and account management.

*Understanding of with VAST and VPAID-integration, testing and reporting

*Familiarity with third party Ad Serving Solutions (i.e. DART/DFP, Atlas, Mediamind, Freewheel, Liverail) and Rich Media Vendors (Flashtalking, Pointroll)

*Troubleshooting (e.g. Firebug, Fiddler) problem solving

*Analyzing HTTP traffic.

*Experience working with Ad Networks (Tremor, Spotxchange,Rubicon)

*HTML and Javascript knowledge

*Knowledge of ad analytics systems: Google analytics, Omniture, etc

General Qualifications:
