The Armani Casa store (Armani's furniture line) in SoHo provided the venue for actress/director Rosie Perez's doc "Yo soy Boricua, pa'que tu lo sepas!" on New York's annual Peurto Rican Day parade. Perez is pictured here with actor/rapper Mos Def ("The Woodsman") and the film's producers, doc filmmakers Rory Kennedy and Liz Garbus as well as IFC exec Evan Shapiro (left). The party was VERY well-attended and many of the spendy tables in the store were obstacles for the crowd working their way through the rooms. The film is an insightful look at Puerto Rican history and pride.
