"The Great New Wonderful" co-star Olympia Dukakis was surprised with a stunning and tasty $5,000 Margaret Braun cake at this week's screening and party celebrating the release of the new film. Co-stars Edie Falco, Dick Latessa, Tom McCarthy, Judy Greer, Anita Gillette and director Danny Leiner were among those who saluted the actress on her special day in Manhattan. Braun's handiwork is featured prominently in one of the five storylines that comprise Leiner's dramatic look at New York City in the year after 9/11. The film debuted last year at the Tribeca Film Festival and is opening in theaters this weekend from First Independent Pictures.
