AFI FEST
Iranian director Jafar Panahi traveled to Los Angeles with his film "Offside," which is screening in the World Cinema section at the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival. The film is a comedy about a frantic father who searches for his daughter who he fears has disguised herself as a boy so she can attend a qualifying match for the country's soccer/football team. Panahi is seen here at a party high atop the Arclight Theater's parking structure which is the AFI Fest's 'festival village' with tents, Audis and sweeping LA views.
