Los Angeles Film Festival programmers Rachel Rosen and Doug Jones upstairs in Berlin overlooking the Fortissimo Films party and doing the rounds. Film Independent, which organizes the annual LAFF held in June, also has a big event coming up--the annual Film Independent Spirit Awards, which will take place in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday, Feb. 24 (hosted by Sarah Silverman and broadcast on IFC). So buy a bottle of champagne or two... or three--preferably the good shit, but it's all good--and check it out!!
