NEW YORK
Tribeca brought out some of the big guns for the press ahead of its opening films on climate crisis, "SOS Films." The former U.S. Veep Al Gore along with New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, Live Earth (yes the upcoming concerts) producer Kevin Wall (far left), Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal and director/actor Rob Reiner ushered in the annual fest Wednesday morning before a crowd in Lower Manhattan. Gore used the example of the U.K. where he said global warming was not a policy issue between the ruling Labour Party and the opposition Tories--and hoped that would become the reality on this side of the Atlantic.
