Samuel Flynn Scott (left) and Luke Buda of "The Phoenix Foundation" perform with the band at Monday's "Eagle Vs. Shark" party at The Delancey on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The group composed the original score for Taika Waititi's first feature, which debuted at Sundance earlier this year and opens in theaters on Friday. Miramax's bash for the film filled the large downtown venue with many guests (including director Michel Gondry) making their way to the tropical rooftop patio to sample the food and desserts, that is until the rains came and pushed many people downstairs...just in time to grab a spot for the band's set at the site's basement stage. During the set, the ten year old The Phoenix Foundation, from Wellington, New Zealand, touted the recent U.S. release of "Horsepower," their successful full-length album first released back home in 2003.
