Reknowned talk show host Phil Donahue, co-director (with Ellen Spiro) of the new Iraq war doc "Body of War," poses for iPOP during a reception for "Live-In Maid" at the Manhattan home of The Film Sales Company's Andrew Herwitz (center) and actor Chris Eigemen. Donahue's doc, tipped to debut in Toronto in September, has been a hot topic among buyers after a host of recent acquisitions screenings held at Donahue's New York City residence (see related blog coverage, including a trailer link). The film is the story of paralyzed Iraq veteran turned anti-war activist Tomas Young and includes original music by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. Expect to hear more about this one in the coming months. Eigeman wrote, directed and stars in "Turn The River," which Herwitz is also repping.
