Magnolia Pictures and HDNet Films threw a lovely dinner at Chimayo on Sunday night for "Quid Pro Quo," their feature film screening in the Spectrum section at Sundance. Directed by Carlos Brooks and starring Nick Stahl, "Quid Pro Quo" is about a paraplegic public-radio reporter who explores the strange subculture of people who seek amputation as a way of completing themselves.
