Film Independent executive director Dawn Hudson welcomed the Spirit Award nominees to a rainy Santa Monica Thursday night at a reception in their honor. Among the slew of nominees attending the event at the swank Casa del Mar hotel were Marisa Tomei ("Before the Devil Knows You're Dead") and Marcus Carl Franklin ("I'm Not There").
