More from the Spirit Awards: Filmmakers Michael Tucker and Petra Epperlein sport some sunglasses and some cocktails outside before the ceremony began at the Film Independent Spirit Awards last Saturday. Also basking in the sun were Netflix's Liesl Copland and Toronto doc programmer Thom Powers. The clouds later rolled in from the Pacific and award attendees noticed the patter of rain on the tent during the broadcast. One person even noticed a leak. Tucker and Epperlein will be at the upcoming SXSW Film Festival with their latest doc, "Bulletproof Salesman," screening in competition.
