New York's Lincoln Square was the site of the world premiere of Oscar nominated doc filmmaker Morgan Spurlock's latest "Where in the World is Osama bin Landen?" Harvey Weinstein introduced Spurlock as "a very sweet guy" (and we can most definitely vouch that he is indeed), and Spurlock joked that he first told sales company Wild Bunch that he wanted to make a film about finding OBL, they laughed and gave him the go-ahead... But anyhow, Morgan (left) is pictured here having a toast with the film's executive producer John Sloss (of Sloss/Cinetic fame) at the premiere party at West Chelsea's Pink Elephant nightclub Wednesday night following the screening (where there were great mini falafel and babaganoush hors d'oeurvres). But back to the introduction of the premiere screening, Weinstein joked that the film had yet to cause any sort of a media firestorm, despite being a film about Osama bin Laden (since, you know... he's fucking Osama bin Laden for god's sake!) But then again, when FOX and CNN are preoccupied with some polygamist sect somewhere, or focused on which presidential candidate is less elitist, and who really cares while we all lose our homes, then maybe we get what we deserve.
