NewFest's closing night after-party for the film , wrapping the festival's 20th annual edition. And good for them Damnit! "Were the World Mine" received a rapturous response from the audience and it deserved it! iW couldn't help but wonder where the hell this film had been since we just first saw it here (its world premiere was at the
Florida Film Festival) and we were surprised it hadn't made its way around to some of the other star-studded festivals that we all know and love -- what the hell is up with that..? Well, anyway, and honestly... one of the best American movies with a gay theme we've run across in ages.
