Writer Dominick Dunne missed an event in his honor last week in Manhattan. With Dunne in the hospital, unable to attend, former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown (left) read a letter from Dunne in New York City last week, alongside Kirsty de Garis (center) and Timothy Jolley (right), directors of the new doc, "Dominick Dunne: After The Party." Fresh from its North American premiere at the Hamptons International Film Festival last month, the film is being pre-sold via the film's website. The Peggy Siegal event welcomed guests to the new Oak Room at Manhattan's famed Plaza Hotel after the screeening, where attendees were chatting about the film, but mostly still buzzing about Election Night.
