Anvil! Takes LA

At an event hosted by Tilda Swinton, Catherine Keener, Michel Gondry and Rainn Wilson, the members of the band Anvil! - subjects of Sacha Gervasi’s doc “Anvil! The Story of Anvil” - celebrated the release of the film’s DVD.  Pictured with the band are the film’s producer Rebecca Yeldham, Gervasi, and moderator Steven Zaillian at a Q&A following the film’s screening at the WGA theater in Los Angeles. Cameron Crowe, Edward James Olmos, Robert Culp were amongst the 400+ attendees. Yesterday, DVD screeners were sent to the entire Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences membership.
