Hawke Sings the Linklater Praises in Woodstock

Actor Ethan Hawke showed up Saturday night at the Woodstock Film Festival awards ceremony to introduce his friend, Richard Linklater, who was being honored by the fest with its Honorary Maverick Award. Hawke has worked on six projects with Linklater, and is currently working on a seventh. “He’s very special to me,” said Hawke. Linklater is also a godparent for one of his children.
