New York’s “In the Loop” Monday Night

New York’s “In the Loop” Monday Night

by Brian Brooks (July 14, 2009)

Greenwich Village’s new restaurant Scuderia served as the venue du jour for the premiere of IFC Films’ “In the Loop,” hosted by the Cinema Society and The New Yorker Monday night. Among the attendees were Steve Coogam, David Rasche, director Armando Iannucci and James Gandolfini, who stars in the film, which debuted earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. Guests mingled with the crowd, including a cadre of Gandolfini’s fellow “Soprano” stars and other celeb guests. The party was enjoyable and light hearted, with one celeb guest spotted doing some “spontaneous art” involving a digital camera and a few friends’ evening gowns. Good fun…  IFC Films opens “In the Loop” July 24th. [Photo credit: Joe Schildhorn/Patrick McMullan Co.]
