British actress Carey Mulligan is having quite a year. She stars in Lone Scherfig’s “An Education,” which won a lot of praise for her performance at the recent Sundance Film Festival, and she was selected to participate in the Berlinale’s “Shooting Stars” program, which spotlights rising young actors from mostly Europe.
