Rosie Shows Off Her “Family” at HBO
by Bryce Renninger (January 20, 2010)
Last night, HBO’s kids and family division unveiled the new musical documentary, Amy Schatz’s “A Family is a Family is a Family,” executive produced by Rosie O’Donnell (pictured) and Sheila Nevins. A celebration of families with “Aww” inspiring interviews with kids and musical performances by Ziggy Marley, Rosie O’Donnell, and some adorable kids who wrote their own unbearably cute songs, the film premieres Jan 31 at 7PM on HBO. Talking to reporters before the screening, Rosie said that adoption rights and encouraging adoptions should come before the gay rights agenda. Asked about following Ellen Degeneres to “American Idol,” O’Donnell said, “Ellen’s gonna do a great job. I would consider ‘X Factor’.” [Image courtesy of Bryce J Renninger] 297 of 298 images
