Sharon Stone Meets the Hamptons

Oscar-nominated actress Sharon Stone joined the crowded tent Saturday evening at the “Chairman’s Cocktail” reception at the Hamptons International Film Festival, greeting admirers and posing for photos. Stone is taking part in this year’s festival as a mentor in HIFF’s “Breakthrough Performers” program, which this year is spotlighting seven actors: Emmy Rossum (“Dare”), Zach Gilford (“Dare”), Rooney Mara (“Dare,” “Tanner Hall”), Emma Stone (“Paper Man”), Cyron Melville (“Love and Rage”) and Alba Caterina Rohwacher (“Due Partite”). Sharon Stone is also this year’s recipient of HIFF’s Achievement in Acting Award, and is taking part Sunday afternoon in the festival’s “A Conversation With…” in which she’ll take part in an on-stage interview.
