Stiller and Kennedy Promote “The Cove”
by Brian Brooks (July 21, 2009)
Ben Stiller and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did not have a hand in making Louie Psihoyos’ “The Cove,” which Roadside Attractions will release July 31, but the pair were just some of the celebs who came out at last week’s NYC premiere. Stiller attended the screening on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, which plays like a doc version of an action-adventure film about one man’s quest to expose a Japanese coastal town’s flagrant slaughter of dolphins. “It made me want to go to Japan right after I saw it,” said Stiller who first saw the film at the Nantucket Film Festival and said he wanted to help promote the film, then jokingly added, “but we had this summer rental until the end of the month…” Stiller traveled to NYC to intro the film and attended a dinner (mostly vegetarian) at a nearby restaurant. 277 of 289 images
