    THINKFilm has acquired all North American rights to writer/director Paul Schrader's "The Walker," the company's Head of U.S. Theatrical, Mark Urman announced Friday. Urman and Randy Manis, THINKFilm's SVP of Acquisitions and Business Affairs, negotiated on behalf of the distributor, and Cinetic Media represented the filmmakers in the deal. The company plans to release the 2007 Berlinale film in late 2007 to "qualify for Oscar consideration," according to a THINKFilm release.     U.S. rights to Robert Cary's romantic comedy "Ira & Abby," written by and starring Jennifer Westfeldthave been acquired by Magnolia Pictures, the company announced Friday.
