Joseph Lovett's documentary "Gay Sex in the 70s" has secured distribution in theaters, on home video/DVD and cable television, Lovett announced yesterday. The film will be self-distributed by the director/producer's own Lovett Productions with support from Frameline, the film's educational partner, while Wolfe Video, has secured home video/DVD rights for the film. "Gay Sex in the 70s" will have its theatrical premiere in New York and San Francisco on November 4. Ellen Keohane reports.

(May 03, 2005) iPOP at the 4th Tribeca Film Festival, Vol. 2
Covering the seemingly endless stream of events that are part of the Tribeca Film Festival is quite a daunting task. Literally, one could be at a party for nearly two weeks straight it seems! It's even more a crazed effort with a small staff and when everyone has a cold! Well, we did our best, and we snapped quite a few pictures at a number of parties/events last week. Films including "The Beautiful Country," "Favela Rising," "The Beat My Heart Skipped," "Cote d'Azur," "Pelicanman" and "The Thing About My Folks" were among the parties we hit, but by no means was that it... Tribeca also held their own official parties including Tribeca All Access as well as a filmmaker party with Kodak. Also in this iPOPper are a couple of pics from the Awards Ceremony held last weekend in Lower Manhattan. Brian Brooks reports.
