iPOP at the Seventh Bermuda International Film Festival

indieWIRE was quite happy to leave snowy New York for (mostly) sunny Bermuda, for the Bermuda International Film Festival, held March 19-25 on the famed island. The festival attracted a number of high-profile guests and jurors, including jury head Willem Dafoe, filmmaker Jim Sheridan (who opened the festival with his "In America"), and Bermuda part-time resident Michael Douglas, who milled with guests at the festival's VIP party. This seventh edition of the film festival presented a record 70 films from 26 countries. In addition to film highlights, special guests were treated to the town crier's welcoming cries at the opening-night reception, a VIP party at ostentatious mansion Deep Water, and other social events.
