    "Another Earth" Lands in Manhattan

This year's sci-fi Sundance sensation "Another Earth" dropped down in Manhattan last night for its NYC premiere with director Mike Cahill (right) and star Brit Marling (left) in tow. One of the big successes of the festival, where it was picked up by Fox Searchlight. "Another Earth" stars Marling as a bright young woman who shatters any hope of a good future after getting into a tragic accident the day the world discovers a duplicate Earth in the sky. The night kicked off with the screening at Landmark's Sunshine Theater and concluded at the Boom Boom in the Standard. Check out our interview with Marling. "Another Earth" opens in limited release July 22. [Photo by Dave Allocca/Starpix]

Did you like the musical saw scene in Another Earth? If you've seen a lady playing the saw in the NYC subway - that is who played on the soundtrack. You can hear music from it on the composer's website
