Bigelow and Dafoe Do the Gothams
"The Hurt Locker" director Kathryn Bigelow got to know the press room pretty well last night at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in downtown Manhattan. Her film "The Hurt Locker" won Best Feature as well as Best Ensemble Cast at the awards show which is produced by IFP. Willem Dafoe attended the ceremony and presented the prize.

Some trivia: Willem Dafoe made his screen debut as a leading actor in Bigelow's first feature, LOVELESS ('83) -- and I still remember seeing it first run -- in all its intense hotness -- at the Roxie Cinema in S.F.
