"Hell House" producer Devorah DeVries with Wyatt Pierson at the party. DeVries apparently used to baby-sit Wyatt back in the day when the family lived in New York (they are now living in Austin, TX). When asked if any of his friends had seen the movie yet, Wyatt replied, "None of them know anything about it." When asked how that was possible considering its coverage in the New York Times, the Austin Chronicle (not to mention indieWIRE) etc., Wyatt replied, "I live in Austin, and they don't know how to read in Texas, so it's fine..."
